Fire Protection Oil Boom not only has the feature of the conventional booms which can intercept ,control and transfer oil spills, but also can be used to intercept burning oil spills and running fires on waters to prevent fires from spreading. It particularly suitable for oil ports and wharfs, offshore drilling platforms and other sensitive areas where high fire rating is required. The fire boom can also be used to trail oil spills to an appropriate location for burning and disposal.

River oil Fire-resistant Boom is a made of a fire-resistant fabric. Fire-resistant Boom for River sections are inflated individually by hand, using a compressor or an air blower. Water is used to cool the floatation chambers for prolonged use.
Heavy Duty River Fire-resistant Booms are specially designed floating barriers that are used to prevent an oil or chemical spill from moving freely across a water surface. River Fire Proof Oil Containment Booms are set in place to prevent an oil slick from entering a sensitive area or else they are positioned to contain the oil slick in a limited area so that a clean up operation can be easily implemented through skimming or burning. 

Fireproof Oil Booms are used to contain large spills in a limited area so that the oil can be burned in a controlled way, thus eliminating the pollutant from the water. Fire Resistant Oil Booms were made of ceramic materials with metallic floats, now the Fire Proof Containment Booms are inflatable and water cooled allowing for much smaller storage space when they are not in use. The JERRYBORG Fireproof Boom combines carefully selected materials to deliver a high-performance, fire-resistant containment solution, proven superior through independent testing.
 
These tests have included 24 hour burns, ASTM fireboom test protocol, and real-world oil-in-ice burns in the Arctic Circle. Unlike most other firebooms, JERRYBORG can be used in training exercises without deleterious effects. Even after it is burned, approximately 50% of the original value of the JERRYBORG can be salvaged and re-used with in-field replacements, whereas other fireboom is typically scrapped.
 
JERRYBORG requires no special handling, launching or support equipment and can be used just like a conventional boom. Originally conceived as a boom to be used in sweep and intentional in-situ burn operations, JERRYBORG can also be invaluable to protect waterfront assets from accidental fires.

Other fire booms, including those using active water-cooled fabric blankets, are subject to burnthrough and catastrophic failure, especially if any component in the complex water cooling system fails. In addition, these designs are complicated to use, requiring extensive training and practice. Degradation of the JERRYBORG refractory material is gradual, predictable and easily observed, ensuring fail-safe operation. Degraded refractory fabric is easy to replace in the field using only common hand tools.

Stainless steel floats filled with glass foam have completed over 150 hours of burn testing with no damage.
 
Simple modular construction
Boom components are assembled using stainless connectors and off-the-shelf fasteners, making it easy to extend, repair or replace boom sections in the field.
